40 COCONUT COIR SEED PELLETS. FROM OWNGROWN. Growing your own plants from seed to fully-grown flower, fruit or vegetable is a special experience for all gardeners. And our OwnGrown starter pellets are the ideal support for sowing! FOR A SUCCESSFUL GERMINATION: 100% peat free – for a sustainable, successful, and easy cultivation of herbs, vegetables, flowers or indoor plants! EASY TO SOW: Start by placing the dry coir pellets next to each other on a tray with the small opening facing upwards. Pour water onto the pellets, bit by bit, until they are unable to absorb any more liquids. The pellets take about 5 minutes to reach their full size. Place the seeds in the small opening in the centre of the coir pellets and cover lightly with coconut soil. Keep your seedlings slightly moist and place them in a light area, for example on the windowsill. When they are large enough, the seedlings can be planted along with the pellets. PLANTING WITHOUT PRICKING: You can plant your seedlings together with the pellet – this reduces the risk of damaging the delicate roots! The young plants root through the thin fleece surrounding the coir pellets. The fleece itself decomposes after a few weeks. You can also remove the fleece before planting your seedlings, this will make it even faster and easier to grow! WE ARE HAPPY TO HELP: Your satisfaction matters!
