To get the plant to rebloom, give it a rest period of six to eight weeks of low light/darkness for 14 hours a day, little water, and no fertilizer. Once this period is over, resume watering and optionally feed with a 0-10-10 or similar fertilizer to encourage health and bud formation. Before you initiate this rest period, allow your kalanchoe to put on some leafy, branchy green growth — seemingly nonstop flowering is tough, exhausting work for a plant.
