The Jubilation Gardenia, from the Southern Living Plant Collection, is a delightful reinvention of one of the all-time favorite Southern shrubs. This Gardenia bush is a dense/compact grower will deep emerald, green glossy foliage that will mature to 3-4 feet tall by 3-4 feet wide. In late Spring, the Jubilation Gardenia will begin its flowering season, and will re-bloom sporadically through the Summer and into Fall. The pure white blooms of this gardenia are double-form and have a lovely scent. As the blooms mature, they will take on hues of yellow and gold before expiring and falling off. (This gardenia is not guaranteed to be in bloom on arrival when ordered online). This Gardenia shrub is landscape hardy in USDA Zones 7-10, in zones 6 and below gardeners utilize planters/container that can be moved indoors during the Winter. In Spring, feed your plant with a slow-release gardenia fertilizer to keep your bush well fed and vibrant. ———- This item Includes: One 2.5 Quart Jubilation Gardenia Shrub (live plant) in a plastic pot with soil. The pot will be wrapped in a poly bag to retain moisture and hold any soil that shakes lose in shipping. The plant will be shipped in a cardboard box that has been designed to hold the plant in place to reduce any chance of damage in transit. As soon as the plant arrives it should be unpackaged, un-bagged, and watered. ——–These plants ship from the Gulf Coast of Alabama. We recommend that customers outside of the Southeastern United States order during the milder times of year (Spring/Fall) to prevent heat/cold stress during transit.
