Whether you’re a pro in the garden or you’re just getting started, Harvest Hero can help you figure out how much Harvest Hero product you’ll need to ensure a robust crop. We’ve carefully crafted the ideal amounts of Harvest Hero product you’ll need based on how many plants you’re planning to grow. The calculations in the following chart use a “middle of the road” approach. They’ll work in most instances, but we’ve erred on the side of possibly too much to avoid the mistake of not having enough to sow your next crop.
- When creating your soil mix, make sure that 20-30% of your container’s total volume is Harvest Hero.
- Leave a two-finger gap between the soil level and the top of the container. This helps eliminate soil overspill when watering and will create a reservoir to force percolation through the soil.
- Not all growing containers have the same volumes, as there are no standards for volumes. For example, 1-gallon containers range in volumes from 3.85 quarts to 1.32 gallons.
Potting Soil: Mix a Ratio of 3 Parts Harvest Hero Products With 10 Parts Coco Coir, Peat Moss, or Compost
